The Ghana Scholarships Authority (GSA) has announced a scholarship opportunity for Ghanaian students to study in the Republic of Serbia under the “World in Serbia” Project for the 2026/2027 academic year.
According to information published by the Authority, the scholarship programme is being offered by the Government of the Republic of Serbia and is open to qualified applicants from partner countries, including Ghana.
The scholarship package covers tuition fees, accommodation and meals in student residences, a monthly stipend, compulsory health insurance, and a free preparatory course in the Serbian language for successful applicants.
Eligibility Requirements
The Ghana Scholarships Authority stated that applicants must be Ghanaian citizens and meet the admission requirements of their chosen programme of study in Serbia.
Candidates are also expected to satisfy all health and documentation requirements outlined by the Serbian authorities and the Ghana Scholarships Authority.
Application Process
Interested applicants are required to complete the online application process through the official Serbian scholarship portal and submit all required documents within the stipulated period.
Applicants must also complete the Ghana Scholarships Authority application form and provide supporting documents, including:
- Completed application form
- Medical certificate
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Motivation letter
- Copy of passport biodata page
- Academic certificates and transcripts
- Proof of English language proficiency where applicable
The Authority indicated that all scanned application documents should be submitted electronically to the relevant Serbian authorities through the designated email address provided for the programme.
Applicants are also expected to submit copies of their application documents to the Director-General of the Ghana Scholarships Authority.

Deadline for Applications
The Ghana Scholarships Authority has set June 26, 2026, as the deadline for the submission of applications.
