A communication team member of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) communication, Awal Muhammed has reminisced the passing of the death of the former Ghanaian Vice president, Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur who demise occurred eight years ago.
In what appears to draw the attention of the Mahama led government and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) party , Awal posted on June 29, 2026 on Facebook giving accounts of the passing of fomer NDC party stalwart.
"Today marks exactly eight years since former Vice President Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur drove to the Burma Camp Air Force Gym for his routine morning workout.
"During the session, he collapsed from a sudden heart attack. Gym members, including a medical doctor, acted swiftly to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in an effort to revive him." Awal Muhammed said
Adding: " he was rushed to the 37 Military Hospital, where he was tragically pronounced dead shortly after arrival"
The outspoken NPP apologist cliams the NDC is doing little to remember the contributions of the former Governor of the Bank of Ghana (BoG)
"I believe the NDC has forgotten about him, despite his dedicated service as Governor of the Bank of Ghana and as Vice President.", he claimed
