The report indicates that the Accra Lawtech Hangout 2026 is set to bring together legal professionals, technology enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, students and business leaders for a day of conversations, networking and experiences centred on the future of Africa’s digital and commercial ecosystem.
It further notes that the annual flagship event organised by Legaltech Lounge, will take place on 3rd December 2026 at the East Garden Event Center, East Legon, under the theme “Building the Rails of African Trade: Law, Data, and Digital Systems.”
This year’s event will explore four key areas Trade, Law, Data and Digital Systems examining how these interconnected systems can support the movement of goods, services and value across African markets.
The Trade pillar will explore the systems that enable cross-border commerce, while the Law pillar will focus on contracts, regulation and legal frameworks that build trust across jurisdictions.
Discussions around Data will examine its role in transparency, compliance and decision-making, with Digital Systems looking at the technology and infrastructure connecting these areas.
Beyond the panel sessions, the Hangout is designed to create an environment where participants can connect, exchange ideas and build meaningful relationships, with interactive and lifestyle experiences giving attendees a chance to unwind and network outside the traditional conference setting.
With more than 800 participants expected and speakers drawn from the legal, technology, business and innovation sectors, organisers say the event is intended to become a meeting point for people shaping the future of Africa’s legal and digital landscape.
